OH, P.S.

This does not mean I won't still be posting on tumblr!! This will just be a more organized portrayal of what I'm wearing/liking/etc etc etc!

For the time being, I have some sort of cold/upper-respiratory infection on top of mono which I supposed I have relapsed back into after "pushing myself too hard," and thus I'm not dressing very fashionably (or bathing regularly). Whatever. Thus, I'll be posting more about things i like or want instead of what I have and am wearing.

It's simply too difficult

to be so precise with what I post to which blogs, and my tumblr is pretty much just me reblogging pretty or funny things anyways. I'm just going to have THIS blog, my main blog, be a jumlbe of writing, updates, poetry, and now, fashion. Here wee goooo!

Progression (not finished)

I guess we were just two souls passing by two slick streamlined paths of energy we run parallel. Your scent travelled to me, through me resulting in small shocked gasps and sudden sweaty palms whenever i smell antiques and cigarettes mixed. red lights and stop signs spent exploring each others mouths, like caves, with sizzling fires made by primitive versions of ourselves

Sorry

blogger.com, facebook friends, tumblr followers, journal, unfolded laundry, various homework assignments/things that require studying, but I need 9 hours of sleep a night and at this rate I'm only going to get 7 or 8 anyway. I'm too tired to do the math. Goodnight.

Things Fall Apart

"If I hold her hand She says, 'Don't touch!' If I hold her foot She says, 'Don't touch! But when I hold her waist-beads She pretends not to know." I'm reading this book in my honors english 2 class, and I am actually enjoying it. I don't love it, but it's holding my attention. I think it's pretty interesting. Anyway, this evening I have a bit of home work and some cleaning to do so I'm going to get going but I bookmarked this page a couple of nights ago in my reading because I thought this little tid-bit was beautiful. Talk to you sooon! xox, M

I want

to punch every one that has religious debates on Facebook in the snout. Listen, everyone. I don't know how I or we got here. I don't know what happens when we're not here. I don't know if anything is true or false. In all honesty, I don't know if I care. I do know, however, that I want to have an open heart, an open mind, and be a good person regardless of whatever chis, spirits, deities, or gods that puts me in the favor of. Disregarding even karma, being a bad person makes you a bad person, simple as that. When people debate about religion the way I've been seeing, they're just bitter because they've had one or the other idea shoved down their throat as the correct opinion. The correct opinion may never be known or may only be available to us after we have died via counterexamples of heaven/hell or whatever, as in, them not existing. In that case, you'd be dead anyway so who cares. Just stop treating everyone/everything around you like you're b...

Aa Bb Cc,.

I am just feeling so peculiar this week! I made my family stir fry for dinner. Elise and I made Igbo masks for an english project. (We're reading Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe in English.. or at least we're supposed to be. I'm on chapter 6, the class is on chapter 13..) I started Breakfast of Champions yesterday or the day before and I am loving it. It's been too long since I've read the words "So it goes," or the name Kilgore Trout. Today was strange. I think just because of how cold it was. People seemed to be very work oriented today, myself included. I bought my first french vanilla frappaccino in almost a year from the convenience store down the street and they've totally changed the machine and recipe and it's too sweet and I totally hate it and will now have to kill someone/ get coffee next time. Anyway, I've still got a bit of work to do and my room is a complete mess and it's almost midnight and I'm just so GOGOGO all the ...

Lather, Rinse, Repeat

Rise Rise Rise Groggy, sleep-filled eyes blurred vision and an uncontrollable desire to slink back under the covers Zombies fill the hallways, searching for sustenance, for something to fill their gut for now. They'll never be content, this place cannot provide academic, social, or physical comfort, despite what the brochures say. Input > result, always. The harder you work, the less praise you receive. Effort Effort Effort work 'til your brain bleeds, think 'til you're brain dead. Rest Rest Rest face down in cotton exhaustion engulfs you like a tidal wave. After what seems like two minutes, again your schedule tells you, Rise Rise Rise Lather rinse repeat, this effort is pointless. Our lives are recycled, and after 8-10 hours we wake up and do the very same shit we hated about the day prior.

Unobstructed

These blankets don't know why or how I chose them to wrap my bones and keep the cold out. Bound in my cotton cocoon unencumbered, I embrace them anyway. These records don't know why I play them, hours spent dancing, mane swinging and flowing wildly. Dust wiped away, speeds adjusted, and the scuffle of my feet across the floor. I do not know, how or where you are. Who you're with or what you're doing. But I know that I can never lose you, if I never had you in the first place. You can't taint what you can't touch, and so our affair will always be romantic, because it will never be fulfilled.

Insight

I've recently realized something pretty cool. My favorite people in my life are very strange. And I've realized that they're not cool because they're weird. Instead, they're weird because they're cool. Their weirdness is a side-effect of being conscious, creative, artistic, stimulated, geniuses. This logic is true about me, too. Not that I think I'm cool. I just KNOW that I'm weird. And I'm positive my weirdness at least plays a part in my artistic endeavors. I don't know, just thought I'd say hello and share this insight

HEY Y'ALL/Longest blog ever.

I'm planning on rearranging my room a bit and when I do, if I do it will probably happen tomorrow and I promise to finally take those pictures I've been saying I would take for a while. I flipped my bed frame upside down so that now my bed is lower to the ground, it feels very cool and I think it looks better. I hope you're all doing good. I think I've turned a corner this weekend as far as my health goes. I've had mono for over a month now. Mono is the worst ailment for someone as impatient as me to have. At least now I've mastered going to school full days, doing homework, and sleeping enough. Now though, I'm trying to perfect the whole "going to school full days, doing homework, sleeping enough, and going out on weeknights." So, I'm sixteen now. My birthday was Tuesday, but I've been celebrating my birthday literally every day this week. I've gone out to dinner every single night and it is disgustingly awesome. I have yet to get my p...

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack

Thursdays @ 8:30pm This show makes me so happy.

10/4

I thought it was going to be different. You still suck.

Friday Night/ Home movies

I've been back at school for a while now, which I'm really happy about. My classes require me to do some pretty hefty work regularly, but even that I don't mind. I'm really loving my biology class and art is pretty enjoyable as well. This Tuesday is my birthday. I think Monday I'm going shopping at Savers with my mom, I don't know what I'm doing on my actual birthday, and Wednesday I'm going out to dinner with my dad, Kim, Alex, Kelly & possibly Derek. Then in about two weeks, when Vermont will be closed up for the year, my parents are taking us all out to celebrate our birthdays. (at least alex's, danny's and mine. maybe steve jr.'s because his is in nov.) Today our school had a pep rally. Not that exciting but better than class. Our cheer leaders did a cool little routine and there was a lot of yelling and such. I didn't go to the football game tonight because of lack of rides/ I was just pooped from all the work I put in this week....
