Godspeed, my friends.

I'm wide awake, it's early evening

I'm terribly sick today. I felt sick last week, but was able to fight it off until G period yesterday. I managed to get through G period, bike to Elise's house to deliver her school things because she's sick as well, and then make it home. However, when I got home, I felt awful and laid down for a couple of hours. Then, my mom bought Alex and I some  dinner from 99. Two Ibuprofen pills and a glass of OJ later, we were watching some  old home movies. As soon as naked baby me came on the screen, I bolted out of  the living room and vomited. It was the worst, but the timing was kind of funny. Today I didn't go to school, instead laid in bed until at least noon. After that, I read a lot of Bright Shiny Morning. I must have read a hundred pages at least. Then I watched some Hey Arnold! on Nick.com and napped a little bit more. Today was the first day of bike club, and since I was too sick to make it, Lauren, Holden, and Sam came to visit me while on their biking adventures. ...

I'm really digging Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton right now. As well as The Strokes's Room On Fire and anything by Maria Taylor. Since yesterday was the first day of spring, I deem it appropriate to talk about the cute outfits I am excited to wear this spring and summer. I went on a first date yesterday with a boy named Lawrence at the park, it was sweet. Trends I'm really digging: + Distressed, cuffed 'boyfriend' jeans      +Western slouch boots + Halter vests/ Jean Vests/ Vests  over  v-necks with lightweight scarve s        + Floral anything, particularly blouses and high waisted skirts     +50's swimwear, navy blues, polka dots, nautical prints, etc.     I'm really excited to shop at GoodWill, Savers, flea markets in VT, and various thrift stores I come across on my journeys this summer. I am so excited that it's spring, finally. I also plan to catch up on Lost and to watch all of Gossip Girl. (heheh) Talk to you all soon!

Finally;

Listening to Maria Taylor, and dressing in a floral shirt. I handed in my first job application yesterday, and it's just been so long since I've been satisfied. I'm finally completely back. This has been a long hard winter. A long hard school year. I don't know which has taken a harder toll on me. I'm back to my quirky self, a reality check thanks to my darling brother, who is back home for spring break. I want to visit with my father and his girlfriend, play outside with their dog. Bike club (2?) starts next week i think. I rode my bike to school today, but there was a water break and the city's water pressure is all flucked up. So we had no school and after watching some Sister, Sister, I fell asleep on the couch. Now I think Elise and I are going to spend the day hanging out and riding bikes. I want to take a trip to the library. Love and finally freedom, MEEELIOZ

Things feel wrong and cold and abrasive. My attempts at fixing things seem only to make them worse. My most wholesome actions are tainted by your selfish assumptions. I had a pretty good day today. I think I'm going to start.. 'blogging' again. This weekend I'm probably going to get some more pictures from my 35mm developed, I need to post what I have so far. I have a poster of Edith Piaf in my bedroom. I finished reading the raw shark texts, I'm now reading The Alchemist for school, which I hate; and Bright Shiny Morning for my own pleasure. After Bright Shiny Morning, I'm reading Kurt Vonnegut's ( I love the people around me. I love the fruit cups at school. I need to stop slacking off. I wish I had breaks between classes. Just time to walk around and try to get to know, like, or appreciate this building where I will  (though, hopefully not) waste the next 3 years and some odd months of my life. I need to go to bed. I hate daylight savings. Au re...
