To write love on her christmas tree
December 24,
I spent all day doing nothing.
I read a little, cleaned, and played the sims 2.
Around 5pm, I took a ride down to Dad's house. Since his mom died,
the whole family was a bit quizzical about the location of this years X-mas ever gathering. So, we met at Dad's house. My aunt and cousins came over bearing gifts and delicious pastas. As soon as we got home, mom was flipping out about being late to Steve's brother, Frank's house. So we went there, me riding with Mom and steve. Derek, Dan, and little Steve riding together. Alex went to Kelly's. When we got home, i played the sims2 until 2 or 3am.
Deciembre 25,
we woke up around 9ish. Opened gifts here.
Mom gave each kid a copy of Catcher in the Rye.
I got a new sewing machine, some clothes i'd picked out, piano lessons, new 1337 headphones, and all that junk that typically fits in a stocking. Alex gave me the Four Winds EP and Kelly gave me these amazing slippers from Aerie.
At dad's,
i received,
girft certificates for pacsun, claire's, and bath and body works; The stephen chbosky book i wanted, Chasing the wolf (nathan singer), 9 stories (j.d.salinger), The midnight examiner, william klotzwinkle, paintbrushes, lotion, earrings, some crazy energy drink, gum, various and assorted candies, a TWLOHA shirt,the sims 2 Nightlife expansion pack (SO, I'M A N00B GIRL, LEAVE ME ALONE., crazy flavored pringles, toothpaste (i think that's a hint), and some other stuff.
All in all,
splendid christmas.
Tomorrow, i think i'm going to the mall with sam, her mom, and her sister to blow some money on pants and boots at dEliA's.
