Shoes/Shorts: Savers. Blouse: GoodWill Above: What I wore last Wednesday to a dentist appointment in Downtown. I've been pairing these Eddie Bauer jeans-turned-DIYed-cutoffs and woven brown oxford shoes with all of my light, airy blouses. I'm hopefully heading to Savers later tonight to buy some more jeans to make into cutoffs, blouses like this, and browse their selection. Moving to Alex's room in a little more than 2 weeks. Went to Kelly's house last night with them and made the best vegetarian chili and guacamole ever. Kelly taught me how to make it and gave me thousands of other cooking tips so that I may sustain my life once they leave :( We also watched No Country for Old Men which I thought was brilliant, but not very easy to watch while eating chili. We're about to head to downtown Brattleboro for some shopping and fireworks later. Salomé is really great. Especially when I read it in a Swedish/Italian/Spanish/Asian accent. That's a combination. Anywhoo, been listening to Mmmbop (moobop!) and looking at Brandon Boyd shirtless and listening to incubus. I call all dogs puppies no matter how old they are. Hey Y'all! My brother Alexander is playing a record release show for Aeroplane, 1929's last album, Attic & Cellar (which is gnarly/tubular/radical/so pitted) and this show is going to be this Thursday (July 1st) at the Florence VFW (18 Meadow st.) in Florence, MA. Joining Aeroplane will be Ian O'Neil, Lio n Cub, Liz Isenberg, and the Okay Win. I'll be in attendance if that's any sort of lure, and I'm sure it's going to be awesome. 10$ gets you into the show and a copy of Attic & Cellar. It's almost too far out to be real!

I'm sorry it's been so long, but I've been learning and doing a lot lately. I'm about to post a very short blog so that I can post that to facebook/twitter/whatever about some simple things that are happening, so this will be an extended version, so to speak. Last saturday I got home from a week in Cape Cod with Samantha and her family at their house there. It was tons of fun, Sam and I read a lot, biked a lot, sprawled out on the beach, played frisbee, played with Molly, listened to good tunes, ate delicious food, etc. I read Kurt Vonnegut's Sirens of Titans, which was aweosme but I still think my favorite so far has been Breakfast of Champions. I also read a terrible Nicholas Sparks book (surprise!) because I wanted a dumb, easy read to... cleanse my mental palette I suppose. Then I started Salomé, which is brilliant and awesome. As tomorrow is my last day of school, it's appropriate that I post a sort of 'Beginning of Summer'

It's already summer. Without a single full week left of school and the weather as nice as it's been. I am actually outside right now by my pool with Samantha and Elise. Elise and Kara came over last night when I got home from Kelly's graduation party, where nearly every conversation I had revolved around my age and the person I was talking to not believing it. Either way, it was really fun, the food was great, and the weather was greater. Then Kara, Elise, and I hit up some McDonald's (we cheated, but it was my first time eating McDonald's in a while, so I guess it was ok.) Then they slept over. This morning Sam broke into my house and woke us all up. I made some breakfast for me, Kara, and Elise. Then Kara brought Elise to her house and Elise got her bike and biked back to my house and Kara went home.
