To me, December is really the start of winter. Unfortunately, I've been wishing it were summer already since before Thanksgiving. I think once it starts to snow I'll embrace the winter. I would like to take the time to commend onions for everything they do. Today. I made a delicious lunch: a boca burger with lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, onions, and of course ketchup. I also made some french fries from a potato. It was the best thing I have eaten in at least a month. Why onions rule lately: -In my bean chili, it all began with the onions and a bit of apple juice. Mmmm -My brother and Kelly came over for Thanksgiving and thanks to her it was so easy to eat vegetarian. Onion gravy. 'Nuff said. - My boca burger and fries were both cooked in onions, and then I put fresh onions on the burger. They make everything taste so good! Thanks, onions. -M

This winter I'm thinking a lot about wild patterns and bright colors. I'm a big time fan of minimalistic clothing. My friends always yell at me when we shop because I only seem to buy things that are gray, black, white, a combination of the three, or striped. This winter I'm planning on incorporating little splashes of loud color, but in moderation (this is key.) I'm also intrigued with leopard print blouses/scarves? We'll see on that one. Here are some things from tumblr/satorialist that have caught my eye: SUBTLE leopard print. (Also aren't those the nicest looking jeans?) The perfect purple. (Paul Smith, taken by Satorialist) Also! I've been interested in buying more interesting leggings! More interesting in both pattern, color, as well as texture. I'm bored of the nearly see-through f21 black and white leggings I wear all too often. Honorable Mention/How'd that get there? -M
