Age old New shoes, and the buddy system.

I had to go shopping because I didn't have any shoes that matched my Class Night/ Graduation dresses. I ended up getting two pairs, Shirley Temple's shoes, and Helen of Troy's.
Don't tell them.

The adventure started when my mom came home with the brilliant idea of heading to the mall to buy some shoes. JcPenney had nothing, and smelt kind of bad, but I bought Sam a shirt and told her happy birthday, a few months late. So we made a quick stop to McDonald's where I was checked out by a cute boy at the drive up window, who followed us to the second window, so he could talk to us again,. The food wasn't very good, greasy fries, and too crunchy chicken nuggets. Hi-C was great though, it never lets me down.

So then we headed over to Pay-Less, where we did just that. I got two pairs of shoes, and my mom got one. Sam and I giggled at some Hannah Montana socks, and I took a long time.
I hate shoe shopping, I have a system.

-Buy a pair of shoes at Mass Bay Co. in Cape Cod, during the summer.

-Wear them the rest of the year, or for the next two years.

-Develope massive holes in them, but keep wearing them.

-Go to Mass Bay Co. the next summer, repeat cycle.

So anyways, i got some cute sandals, YES, sandals, and some alright flat-pleather shoes.
Then, we went to some obscure whacky furniture store my mom loves,
called Tuesday Mornings.

It was there i found this beauty:

The perfect gift for a five year old little buddy of mine who I believe is graduating in 6 days.
I can't wait to give it to Madelyn, even if my mom's predictions come true,
and her parents dislike her having a giant bubble gum machine and a pound of bubble gum.
Only one week's allowance for the big smile and a good goodbye from a soon-to-be first grader, is enough to have me, and this bubble gum machine sold.

Sometimes I feel happier giving then taking,
and I know that's how it's supposed to be, but it still feels strange, and good.

Five days left at Holy Cross.

Tomorrow isa cleaning day, and I think I forgot to get brown paper bags. We might have some,
but I don't even care if we don't. What are they going to do/say? Anyways,
today was my last day of wearing my school uniform. Out of one plaid, and into the other.
Some people are donating theirs but I think my skirt is too broken and doodled on, and my vest has some recent paint on it. Thursday is our 8th grade class trip,
so that should be pretty fun. Friday is a retreat, but I have to go to Derek's graduation, so I'll miss most of Barry Kingston's saucey reggae Jesus, ripping off Catholic schools act. Though I think I'm coming back at 12 or something, so I should get some giggles in. Also, Friday is my school's carnival. That always feels like a good way to end the year, and such. Monday we have a half-day, for graduation practice, and then that night is Class Night. Which will be nice, I'm actually curious to see who won the scholarships, though I don't think I did because my entry was a bit sarcastic, and not as 'touching' as I usually make it for school things. My writing can always make people cry, but I don't know how genuine I am all of the time. I guess that's a form of writing in itself, writing from a point of view more in focus of pleasing other people, than expressing your own feelings. Tuesday is graduation night, and I don't think I'm really doing anything that night. Maybe going out to dinner, I'm not sure. I'll definitely cry. It's like I'm graduating from my childhood, I've been at this school for ten years. It's strange, and liberating.
Wednesday is the kindergarten's graduation, so I'll try to go to that, and give Madelyn her present. Thursday is Emily Pin's party, so that'll be fun. Then Saturday is Brianna Ashe's party.
I'm never this busy, and I'm enjoying it.

I've been writing more lengthy entries lately, and I guess its just that I've been feeling sentimental these past few days, in a good way.

I found some of my old diaries, and I think I want to start a new one,
I might have written about this in a previous blog, my memory is lacking lately.
Anyways, I kind of want to keep a handwritten diary this summer. Blogs are neat,
but Journals and diaries are really private. This is more of a way for me to openly say what's going on, so that I can look back on it later, but the more private stuff should be written down too, just not for the world to see.

Thank you for always listening, internet.
Lawl.

Goodnight
